Sometimes you just need more.
Sometimes you need to be able to tell your whole story without worrying about upsetting someone else or being a burden to them.
The things you’ve tried haven’t really helped. Your anxiety, depression, or grief don’t seem to be better.
Medication may have helped a little, but again, not enough.
Start by working on yourself.
Maybe you’re facing a problem in your marriage or family. If the other person isn’t willing to come to therapy, you don’t have to give up.
You can work on you, because the best thing for the people around you is for you to be your best self.
“The family is the people-maker.” But…
Virginia Satir, one of the pioneers of marriage and family therapy, said, “The family is the people-maker.”
I agree with her, and I’m trained to work with couples and families. But a few years ago, I realized that I prefer to work with individuals.
My most effective and fulfilling work seems to be with individuals, so I’ve limited my practice to working one-on-one.
I’d be honored to work with you.
It is time to focus on you.
Reach out today, so we can work together to find out how to relieve the burden and begin a new self, one fulfilled and free of burden.
